About five minutes into The Batman we realised we'd seen it before and that it had clearly not left enough of an impression on us to make us realise this before it started so there was no point continuing. After a couple of minutes on Netflix I made an executive decision and stuck The School For Good And Evil on instead. Didn't know what to expect and it wasn't without a few flaws, but we were pretty entertained and it all looked gorgeous. #Movies #TheSchoolForGoodAndEvil

I just watched #TheSchoolForGoodandEvil on Netflix and.... I think they used the name and the storyist from the book. I'm pretty sure the rest is rot. I may need to get the book from the library again, because....
It was a good movie, just not what I was expecting

So I actually finished all of Lore Olympus in about a week (for the 1st time and HOLY SHIT?!) and I finished the first book in The School For Good and Evil series with 10 days left in January!

Maybe it's time to switch back to a Non-Fiction #SelfHelp book for a bit?

Watched "The School for Good and Evil" last night on Netflix and despite the ridiculous premise and over-the-top tropes, I was 100% emotionally invested and loved every second of it. Will be rewatching to analyze how they managed to do this. I believe the key was in the characters, specifically making Agatha such an excellent protagonist.
