Whereas #TheWhistlers #LaGomera from 2019's Cannes Palme D'Or nominees had interesting writing at least. Not sure it's masterful or anything, but for a movie likewise set in criminal worlds, probably even lesser known ones with the (originally Corsican was it?) whistling language + the Romanian setting, it worked for the most part.

I don't agree with IMDB views it was too complicated, tho that probably explains the 6,3 listed for it there. Coherence & logic still.
