Last year I spent a lot of time in and out of hospitals, sitting in waiting rooms, and waiting around to get irradiated. I had two, apparently unrelated, forms of #cancer, #prostatecancer and #thyroidcancer, which were diagnosed only weeks apart. I'm always happiest when I have a project to keep me busy, so I started making #crossstitch pin cushions from Modern Folk Embroidery. I did the first one as a convenient small project, but then I decided to keep going and make Christmas gifts for my stitching and costuming friends.
