Testing the #toottui client. I'm writing this from my #raspberrypi #console! I can't get the #emoji to work. Please send #help!

I’ve been using six #Mastodon apps.
- web app, for a short time in the beginning
- #Tootle and I don’t remember exactly what features it was missing
- in the meanwhile I start using #tootTui CLI app
- #Toot! my first paid app
- Finally #Metatext came and I was delighted
- But then #Mastodon official app also came to iOS, and I was thinking that it will be the best choice
And now I’m changing my mind. Official app isn’t so good, and the web app isn’t too worse from native apps.

I enjoy pictures, gifs, etc. However, its interesting using #toottui how little writing there is online in general anymore. I'm guilty of it too with the microblog category and just posting pictures.

Suprising - toot (CLI - sic!) have "thread" option and "t" shortcut in #TootTui interface.

Hehe, sounds like we are having a similar mindset here.
Smooth app behaviour is a must and Tusky does that well. Using it since I joined Mastodon.
And yes, #toottui is due to it's terminal nature very simple and kind of nerdy ;)

Nevertheless, cannot await to see more of your drawings. Where are you getting your inspiration from? (If I mind asking.... 😊

#toottui sounds like something where I'd have no idea how to use it xD #fedilab seems to have endless customization options, even the exact colors of the UI (not only dark and light mode, but much more), the only real but huge downside is that it's slow (on my phone at least) and that's a no-go for an app imo ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
and yes, on desktop I also use the classic website, looks good and works.

#Tusky is really neat imho...using it on my phone.
#Fedilab I have never tried though.
But mostly I am still using either the classic Mastodon website, because I like the columns 😀
Or like now, #toottui, a terminal emulator based Mastodon client 🤓

How sweet is that? #toot (#toottui) got an updated version 0.26.0 today. And is now also in official DEB/Ubuntu repo. Awesome!
I will use it more often now, I guess....

One of the first things I've spotted using #toot is, that the time for whatever reason is off by two hours. Or is that some kind of servers localized time. #commandline #toottui
