It is only 4 people. With an occasional donated scan. The "seed" of this project came from #Scottish #StarTrek #fanzine publisher ScotsPress & editor Janet Quarton who published multiple Star Trek fanfiction zines & newsletters in the 1970s-1990s. She scanned her zines & uploaded them to her website (which will be coming down). She also scanned the fanzine collections of 2 friends before all 3 donating to #UniversityOfIowa. 6/n

A colleague and I made a discovery yesterday while looting a building on campus due for renovation: a vintage (1966) graduate brochure from the University of Iowa. As U of IA alums, we both found it rather interesting. Unsurprisingly, it was very white and very male. Things aren't perfect, but we've come a long way. #universityofiowa #academia @academicchatter

I live in Coralville, Iowa, which is next to Iowa City which is the home of the University of Iowa & the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics. We get quite a bit of medical transport traffic because the UIHC is such an important state/regional hospital.
As a wildlife photographer, I think they make great practice for bird in flight photos👍 😉
