Vavatsinia Village, located in the Larnaca District of Cyprus

Abandoned village house with an unusual circular entrance. The design is not typical of the village, although the stonework is locally sourced. The concrete staircase was sadly added much later.

Nicely aged traditional wooden doors, with a metal grill, spotted in an abandoned house. These doors have become collectors items for people renovating the old stone village homes.

A very considerate and well designed refurbished village house, which blends in nicely with the architecture of the village. A major plus point is the use of the locally sourced stone.
