Does anyone else remember when The Gap released this t-shirt series? There was one for Calgary showing the stampede, one for Toronto showing the CN Tower, and at least one other. Would have been the late 90s, I think.

And then this one. For non-locals, the island off the coast of Vancouver known for its totem poles is #VancouverIsland. There were piles of them in the clearance area for a massive discount.

I was a student on a four-person archaeological team on the Ekalluk River. A dozen or so families of Ekalluktormiut lived in a fishing camp nearby. Here, they come to be sociable and help out as we repair a float on our Single Otter.
