Wilderness is a great idea. We should have more of that, in more places, connected by wildlife corridors through not wilderness places, less of them in more places.

Not for "future generations," but for itself, a place where natural processes, limitations and evolution can occur on their own terms, not to satisfy human greed and desire.

also because less time wasted finding a freaking parking space

also because better with a mixed matrix of green spaces amongst urbanization, serving as

this in turn improves recharge and reduces management and problems because there's less surfaces

mixed matrix of businesses, residences, and green spaces improves local economic by helping local businesses, and also improves

sure, some people will want to live far out in the exurbs on big lawns but not everyone should be condemned to this infrastructure

As a permaculture farmer, one of my roles is to increase native biodiversity on my farm. This can be done in cities, everywhere, and is worth it no matter where you are. Good to see the world pledging to protect 30% of the world's biodiversity. With good design, we can regenerate biodiversity in areas disturbed by humans as well. This article shares good news on this front - progress. Gift article: nytimes.com/2022/12/19/climate

Let's all break out a tissue for poor , famous for becoming alone and isolated in LA's Griffith Park. He was the figurehead of a successful campaign to build through the city. But recently he killed a small dog and was captured, only do discover he was badly injured, probably by a car, and generally in poor health. I only learned of his existence a few weeks ago. Sorry. Wish you had a better life, fella.
