My writing feels a bit soulless today. I can't seem to capture the intensity I need for this scene, and I'm tired from insomnia and struggles to sleep. I might try a nap and try to write this scene tomorrow.

I might have also crafted the incorrect playlist for this story. Trying to put together a list of songs to fit the mood, theme, and characters of a story is difficult at best. I think for this one, I might have judged the mood and atmosphere wrong, as the music feels off as well.

I can't even tell you how many hours I spend trying to craft just the right playlist instead of writing the dang story. lol
