#YureiDeco is the bright, candy-colored cyberpunk dystopian #anime I didn't realize I needed. Science Saru, you've done it again.

Has anyone watched #YureiDeco? I like some aspects of it a lot, like the central theme of information, and a society which is based on social media "likes" as a social and economic credit score of sorts. However in practice I find it tedious to watch. I think it's a combination of the episodic structure which tends to ignore the more interesting plot elements, and fairly shallow characters. I'm thinking back to #DennouCoil, trying to remember what worked so well for that one

N°46 - YUREI DECO (2022 - Science SARU) 👩‍💻

Un univers peu prenant, même si je vois où il veut nous mener. Mais des personnage assez peu attachants et des péripéties pas particulièrement accrocheuse. Pourtant j'aime beaucoup le style du studio. Déception de la saison.
