Thanks to people who voted in my poll about hashtags for #Ōtepoti #Dunedin things 🙏🏼 Ōtepoti was the clear favourite on 59%, but a decent minority of 36% like the idea of using both of these tags each time. I’ll try and do that in future! The main purpose of this poll was to raise awareness of the importance of hashtags for local things you want to be searchable. I get on the bus at the start of the route. At that point 80% (including the driver) were #MaskWearing. Yay. Even the 2nd bus driver after I transferred at the hub was wearing a mask - though he did have a hacking cough. #Ōtepoti

Good evening from #Ōtepoti, where the sky looks ever so slightly threatening!

The monthly report from my garden #weather station confirms that conditions were all over the place in #Ōtepoti in October! We had the biggest snowfall for a couple of years early in the month, and a close miss from a late frost with 1.6 degrees on the 25th ( just after I planted out tomatoes 😬). We also had several warm days of 24 degrees. Total rainfall here was 117.62mm, higher than the October long-term average.
