در اقدامی که به آدم‌ربایی شباهت دارد هواپیمایی که همسر #علی_دایی و دخترش در آن بودند در فرودگاه کیش به زمین نشانده شد و ماموران پس از پیاده کردن آنها اعلام کردند که ممنوع‌الخروج هستند. علی دایی از جمله ورزشکارانی بود که از انقلاب مردمی ایران بارها حمایت کرد.
