Translation Poll

I'm working on a translation of the Record of Lodoss War players guide.

One weird thing I've noticed is that it seems like Lodoss itself is a mistranslation. ロードス島 is the same as saying "The Island of Rhodes." But it seems like when it was first localized, someone decided it should be said "Lodoss." I can't find any source of Ryo Mizuno commenting on this.

So what do ya'll think?
