I haven't drawn him without his shirt on ever (besides for his reference) and honestly it came out pretty well.

asymmetrical convertible cargos.... you're welcome

One of the criticisms of the older design, which still echoes in my head, was that the original design was simply too plain. For example, the convertible cargos were plain chino khakis, the jacket had no trim, he had no accessories aside from his glasses.

I had wanted the design to be accessible, not necessarily flashy, but I hope this is a solid compromise- it definitely looks more interesting to me. #kenji_baionoto #倍音音ケンジ #UTAU

I’ll probably make a little extra ref material with some additional notes, such as differences between Kenji and [Persona], and the interestingly-requested body / facial hair considerations.

Oh, and a full-layered document of the turnaround will be included with the new bank, for toggling with... as demonstrated.

Current status of Kenji’s ref. “Lowest layer” and “Middle layer”, as I’m calling them.
