The foreigners had to write down the exact serial numbers of the then FEC (Foreign Exchange Currency) in order to apply for the new driver's license at RTAD in Yangon.

新しい運転免許証を申請するのための手数料は、現地の兌換券払いが原則であった。
しかもその兌換券のシリアルナンバーを一つひとつ転記するという作業が待っていた。
そんなこともあったなぁ、と（遠い目）
しかし、ミャンマー（ビルマ）独自の兌換券（FEC：(Foreign Exchange Currency)があったというのも昔話だな。
