In Japanese the equivalent of "anti-American" (a phrase Chomsky says is totalitarian) is 非国民 HiKokuMin. The middle box-like kanji stands for State, nation-state. While paying attention to #Toroku and #Minamata I think why not words like 売国奴 BaiKokuDo for people that sell their villages' water, or land to the State and Corporations? Why no 非村民 HiSonMin or 売村奴 BaiSonDo for men that give rights to exploitative mines, factories, and corporations? Should be seen like selling daughters off for #口減らし
@fedops Probably mean he wants to make babies in Japan? If we got real and looked at Food Security and Ecological Footprints Japan could do well with a smaller population. #IshimureMichiko on #Minamata writes how in the 1950s poor people in fishing villages were still selling of their daughters to better feed the remaining mouths. The practice was called, decreasing the mouths #口減らし,. With global climate chaos and food riots we'd be better off decreasing bullshit jobs and profits...

@bsmall2@nerdica.net The above is a shared Friendica post that is a quoted text from the linked #Intercept article. It made me think of#ElonMusk's commens about Japan's declining population. In the 50s, in #Minamata, #IshimureMichiko was writing about families needing to sell of their daughters to better feed the remaining mouths. #口減らし Food Self-sufficiency #食料自給率 is low, probably even without accounting for all the chemical fertilizers being made with imported substances. #CompactSociety time! #縮小社会
