Though we decided to end the original time lapse experiment after a full trip around the sun in March 2023, the project gave us ideas for future experiments like capturing time lapses at other locations using the outdoor enclosure, further automation of the time lapse setup with slightly newer models of smartphones, integration of the smartphone in a home automation system, etc. We hope to be able to share the results of future experiments soon.

Our own crude experiments are based on a keen interest in the combination of horizontal reuse of common "recyclable" single-use items, prudent application of technologies like 3D printing and repurposing dollar-store purchases.
