Fujitsu took an interest in Habitat and sought out the original developers who helped them to negotiate with Lucasfilm Games to license the Habitat IP.

A seminar was held at Skywalker Ranch between the devs and Fujitsu representatives to explain how it all worked.

The result was the creaiton of Fujitsu Habitat. A fully Japanese language driven virtual world released for the FM Towns in 1990. Featuring higher resolution graphics and sound/music.
