I met the #Ukrainian ambassador to #Japan this morning. He visited our town to pray for peace on the anniversary of the atomic bombing of #Hiroshima.

The #Yomiuri (Nagano edition ) had a big article on Saturday morning about me becoming the first non #Japanese to win the #saketasting competition in #Nagano.
The gentleman with me in the photo is the president of #IgayaBrewery the maker of #Iwashimizu, a terrific #craftsake label, and a big reason I got involved in this.
I have way too much sake at home now so if any wants to help me drink it, please do🍶🍶🍶

Our great local weekly paper, the #HokushinLocal, had an article yesterday about me being the first #foreigner in history to win the #Nagano #saketasting competition.

Day 66 - Shiga Kogen - Had a bunch of errands today and expected to only do a run or two but when I got up the mountain this morning there was an InsanityLevel9™️ blizzard going on and tons of fresh powpow. Turned into a few more runs with a sempai I bumped into by coincidence. In the afternoon got a bunch of political website stuff done.
