Happy birthday, Osamu #Dazai! This time last year I was able to share a few short stories of his I had translated, this year I am delighted to say that I am publishing my first book of translations, Retrogression - a study of Dazai’s early attempt at the Akutagawa prize.

All four short stories will be released into the public domain, free to read, whereas the book will contain a few extras such as the letters, translator’s notes, biographies and references.
