In 2021, I found out #田中邦衛 had passed away. I cried until the muscles and bones in my head were sore. I watched various clips and scenes from #北の国から which reminded me of: 1. Watching Japanese television with the ex-wife, falling in love with #北海道 , my own #abandonment , and the unwavering #love and support that I didn't have growing up.
So much hardship, so much love in that series.
