First time making Gà xé phay per Mum's recipe. It is a Vietnamese salad with shredded or sliced chicken (I was lazy and just used Woolies roast chicken but I think poached chicken is supposed to be used), thinly sliced cabbage, sliced onion and fresh herbs. The dressing has chilli, lime juice, fish sauce and sugar in it.
Super delicious but I think I added a tad bit too much salt and fish sauce, so I'll dial those back a bit the next time I make it.

Was at a cafe and saw the choice between Phở Bò and Bò Kho (beef stew). Which is always a hard one for me. But the desire for fresh hot crusty bread and stew action won. 😂
The stew was a tad bit sweeter than I'm accustomed to but still delicious and hearty and perfect for a cold wet windy day like yesterday! ❤️
