（みんなは50歳で死ぬというわけではありません、若く死ぬ人がいるので平均を下がります。445人男性のうち、99人は享年70歳以上（103歳まで),
226人女性のうち、73人です（91歳まで)。ほぼ25%の人は70歳を超える。）
（家譜は身分の高い人だけが持っているので、バイアスあります。）

(it does not mean that everyone was dead at 50, since some people are diying young the average gets lower. Among the 445 men, 96 die after 70 y.o.,the oldest being 103 y.o., and among the 226 women, 73 die after 70 y.o., the oldest one being 91. #Ryukyu #RyukyuGenealogies

（今のデータベースで享年が分かる人711人、男性445人、女性266人、近世だけではなくて、16世紀も含むー以上に少ない）
今のところ、出生時平均余命は男性で49.6歳、女性で48.0歳。ワクチン接種の前の世界で以上に高いです。一部の家譜は若く死んだ子供たちを無視している可能性ありますが、享年1、2歳とかの子供たちが時々出ているので、ちゃんとみんなを記録している可能性が高いと思います。

長男でも「眞三良」、三男でも「思二良」の名前は全然あり。ところで、名前に使う数字は二（次)、三、五、百と千だけ。

There are guys called Masanra 眞三良 ("the third son") although they are the eldest sons and guys who are called Umijira 思二良 ("the second son") although they are the third ones. Numbers used in given names include 2, 3, 5, 100 and 1000 only. #Ryukyu #RyukyuGenealogies #RyukyuanNames

ところで、「竈」の字を使うのはたった9人、他のみんなは「蒲戸」です。（まあ、当て字だからこれのことどう思ったらいいとよく分かりません）　#近世琉球史ネタ強化月間
By the way, the "stove" 竈 ideogramme is only used 9 times, most of the times it is written 蒲戸 (well,the ideogrammes have been attributed for their sound and not their meaning so I'm not sure what to think about it)

たとえば、「沖縄で女性が台所を守る役があったので『カマド』という女性が多かった」とよく言われていますが、今まで読んだ家譜で、「カマドゥ」「マカマドゥ」「マカマドゥガ二」「ウミマカマドゥガに」の名前を持つ106人の中で、60人が男性。　#近世琉球史ネタ強化月間
It is often said that Ryukyuan women had the task to protect the kitchen and that's why many women were given the name "Kamado" (meaning "kitchen stove"). In the genealogies I have read until now, I found 106 persons with the name "Kamadu", "Makamadu", "Makamadugani" or "Umikamadugani", and 60 of them are men. #Ryukyu #RyukyuGenealogies #RyukyuanNames
