6 followers · 898 posts · Server mstdn.jp東京一極集中が、居住環境の質を大きく落としていることをつくづく感じる。なにもかもが東京に集まってくるおかげで、東京の地価は高騰する一方。それでも庶民は住まなければならない。そうすると、安かろう悪かろうに目をつぶり、乱開発された地域の住宅を買うことになる。需要はあるから乱開発は進む。結果、道路などの都市基盤が弱く、景観も良くない過密都市ができる。
この間長野市に行ったときに、つくづく東京の過密と環境の悪さを感じた。長野市のような都市を全国に育成して、東京から分散させる。それによって、都市がゆとりをもった場所になる…は、わたしの遠大な夢。

クルマ優先の街から歩行者・自転車・公共交通の街にする一例。なるほど。いわゆる「道路族問題」なるものは、問題提起している側が道路の主役を自動車だと勘違いしていることが大いなる原因だと考えているので、この取り組みは大いに参考になる。
