I’m currently learning Swift using @twostraws’s 100 Days of Swift. Today I wrote a while loop that coders who grew up in the 80s may appreciate. (Hint for those of you who aren’t developers: my code won’t let Sammy drive 55.)

Studying up for an Apple contract by watching #100daysofSwift videos from @twostraws
Happy customer of Paul. Give him all your doggo treatZ.
Joined the Apple Silicon world yesterday with my new M2 MBP and I'm in love with this machine 🥰
Going to put the pedal to the metal and embark on 100 Days of Swift and see where it takes me.

Man, I really need to pick back up on #100DaysOfSwift and #100DaysOfSwiftUI. It’s been too long.

@twostraws My wanting to program. Has been fits and starts for a long time. Starting my #100daysofswift today.
Forgot to post that I had finished day 7 of #100DaysOfSwift ... closures all the time 😃
Finished day 6 of #100DaysOfSwift and didn't realize closures were broken across 2 days, so I just kept on cruising into day 7 material. Still a bit left to watch, so I'm just going to wait & finish it up tomorrow so I follow the prescribed progression
Finished day 5 of #100DaysOfSwift & I think we're just about past the absolute most basic elements of the language...
Just today finished day 4 of #100DaysOfSwift as I took the weekend off as there were other things going on (mostly just got caught on something else and forgot to do it - raking leaves, watching movies/tv, cleaning my home office, etc.)
Ok, Day 64 is done of #100DaysOfSwift - The technique lessons are always really good. I’ve been using ImagePickers in my own apps for along time, by just taking simple Swift Packages.. but this explained a lot of the bridge code that is being abstracted away by those packages. Given what I’ve learned today, I may just remove to those swift packages and write my own wrappers to simplify my code.
Finished day 3 of #100DaysOfSwift. Still no surprising gotchas in the language syntax...
Forgot to post yesterday, but I finished day 2 of #100DaysOfSwift. Still ready for more depth, but going to stick to the progression (and accountability) as Paul recommends...
Finished day 1 of #100DaysOfSwift by @twostraws. This first day was light, but I'm going to try to stick to the suggested path.
iOS/Mac dev is not what I code as part of a day job, so it's easy to let my past attempts slide when things get busy.
And just like that Days 54, 55, and 56 of #100DaysOfSwift are done. It’s strange to me which days go by so easily and which ones I struggle with.
Just wrapped up day 43 of #100DaysOfSwift - InsettableShape allows for correct stroke widths so they don't run off the screen and get clipped.
