I did it!
I took your podcasts' advice.
I went to my first local planning meeting tonight.
I wasn't actually the youngest person in the room! but not far off :-)
The biggest "concern" was, of course, "What about the parking!" 🤦🤦🤦
I did manage to get to talk to local councillors at the end and offer my appreciation and support for all their work and for their efforts to make the streets more walkable and bike friendly.
