More #15mm reinforcements for #BoltAction. Amazing how quick these are done, I started this project 5 days ago and now I have a full Bolt Action army painted. This scale is seriously underrated.

Three toots in a day! Prepped the next 16 Forged in Battle Pikemen. May not get them painted until post holiday but hopefully I can prime then tomorrow.

And Henry Hyde's new book arrived today as well. Had the PDF for a week but wanted the hardback. Some nice illustrations and a great insight into running an Imagination campaign. Plus there are pictures of me and my toys...

Finally finished the basing on the 15mm Forged in Battle Pikemen. All painted by a mate over three years. It was worth the wait. I need to add a few more bases and expand on some others I already have. And then work out what other units to add to make whatever final 'Successor' army I decide upon...

Almost gave up again but took today off work and made some good progress on the pikemen basing. And have prepped a few more. I'm 8 figures short to do the full 32 figure block. Don't really want to buy another pack of 24 so just 16 and some command for now.

Today has been a day of shitty stuff at work (not my fault...) but I did manage to stick the rest of the 15mm Pikemen to bases and repaint the cloaks on the command to make each group different.

No proper updates for a while. Life has been complicated as we've had a load of building work done. Before and after shots below. Four weeks with no kitchen was hell...

Consequently hobby was non existent and even though work finished a month ago I still can't face a brush. However, 3 years ago I sent a load of 15mm Pikemen to a friend to paint. They finally arrived on Thursday! And I've made a start on basing them. Hopefully mojo will return.

Another game of our WW2 variant of "The Men Who Would Be Kings" skirmish rules. I had been hurriedly painting Soviets for what would be a 1939 Winter War scenario. Two Soviet players, including me, vs. 2 Finns. Soviet aim was to sweep the board, which was mostly light woods with heavy forest on some hills. We didn't come close. My entire force was wiped out, except for one section which had a duff leader and failed to move much during the game. #wargaming #15mm

I've been painting and now have a decent 15mm Soviet WW2 force. At 1:1 scale it's 4 rifle platoons, 2-3 SMG platoons, lots of LMG and leaders, 2 HMG, 2 Mortars, 2 field guns, 7 assorted tanks, and one armour car with another due soon. #wargaming #15mm

I'm having a great time with my resin printed #Eldar, sculpted by independent artists outside the Games Corporation. Infinitely cheaper, more cute and strangely satisfying to paint.

In the current economic crisis scenario I think it's specially on these "trademark days" when we should reflect on our hyper-consumer behaviour and the sustainability of it all.

I may have just spent the evening modding Fat Dragon Games dungeon tile stls to make specific low wall pieces to fit my Moathouse dungeon plans.

What? I know... a week ago, I was asking for 3d file mod help. Well... teach someone to fish and well... they start hacking all sorts of crazy things together.

@belisarius rebasing…what a nightmare. My #15mm #napoleonics I started rebasing 2 by 2 on thin metal bases, which I could place on magnetic sabots of the desired size.
