My PhD looked at #Irish soldiers in the #BritishArmy during the #NapoleonicWars. My postdoc looked at Irishmen in the #FrenchArmy (the #IrishBrigade or #WildGeese). Since then I've worked on both topics, with articles & chapters on these & others including the Irish Militia & the #1798Rebellion. I also research on topics relating to the #Crusades & #medievalIreland. Looking forward to meeting you!
