I've been out singing in the parade again, this year the weather was quite nice, with the sun peeking through now and then. It was some wind at times, and a bit chilly when the sun went behind clouds, as well as a few drops of rain.

This year they had a proper sound system, so I think they heard us, for once.

Afterwards I went with the family to have lunch at my aunt's place.

Today is Norway’s Constitution Day. I love celebrating my Norwegian heritage. I embraced my heritage a few years ago after falling in love with Nordic folk song and pop music, which led me to start learning Norsk in order to understand the lyrics. Since then I have learned much about the culture and traditions, and I hope to visit someday. Who knew that watching music clips from Hver Gang Vi Møtes on YouTube would change my life!
