cooked dinner last night in a crook pot, it was completely powered by my DIY battery charged from solar panels in my driveway.

Other than being odd and expensive, my solar energy collection/education has been useful.

finally testing the DC booster with my #18650battery to #ac200max

Looks like it is ~91% efficient; with a clamp amp meter

wires get a bit warm pushing 40A thru 10AWG connected with a XT-90 connected.

Also pushing the 3x20A BMS a bit hard on the battery can feel it getting warm. when installed that won’t be an issue.

BMS has been installed, battery can be considered more safe to use.

Still need to test it

Since the #ac200max can only pull 15A from the solar and my DIY battery is 24v, I decided to get boost converter

hopefully it can pull about 700w from my DIY battery or more, so it can put the full 900w that the input can handle.

Finally done testing all of the cells for my new battery build.

About 50 didn’t meet my standards, but at least that still gives me enough to make the battery I’m planning to make.

Now for the 2+ weeks of leaving the cells alone to see if they self-discharge to much
