The two north lions live on cast in bronze on the steps of the #ArtInstitute If you look at their bases, it says Kemys (the artist) and 1893. Chicago History Museum, ICHi-025081

Here's what the interior of the Palace of Fine Arts walls looked like. I'd read it was Beaux Arts for #1893WorldsFair and the MSI redo of 1933 was Art Moderne. Most interiors of it during the fair just show random art without a close look at the design of the interior.
