5.5 clicks 1zpresso ZP6-Special, Kalita Wave filter paper, Origami dripper with Lilydrip Lotos.

TBT: 2:50. 13g: 210ml. 50ml bloom for 35s, then three equal pours to the end with small swirls in between pours.

Red apple crispness and sweetness.

A colleague brings their #Flair #Espresso maker to work these days.

And combined with an #1ZPresso K grinder and good beans it makes a *really* tasty espresso. As in, I'd happily pay 600 yen for it in a cafe kind of good. And the whole process is a lot of fun, if a little heavy on the prep and cleaning.

I need to get one of my own methinks.

@dean I’m a fan of manual grinders. More work but great bang for the buck. Whatever you get make sure is a burr grinder. Blade grinders are good for spices but not coffee.

My grinder is the #1Zpresso JX Pro. There are newer models so don’t get that one. But if their stuff is in your price range it’s solid. Which one to buy? https://youtu.be/DR3p20NXnVo

Ordered a #1zpresso k-ultra https://1zpresso.coffee/k-ultra/ handgrinder and timemore nano scale. Should allow precision coffee with our #AeroPress maybe a #Flair58 one day?
At sea will use a standard electric filter coffee machine on a gimble for safer coffee making.
