December, The Royal Train makes a visit to Tocumwal for the SRHC Christmas Train. X31 is paired up with T382-T378.
NGG129 powers away with the Puffing Billy Polar Express.
In November, also made a trip to New South Wales for the third time, but this time on a XPT.
Later that month, the Tait was attempted again over Flinders Street Viaduct.
November 2022, saw the Spirit of Progress come back to life with the Seymour Railway Heritage Centre.
October 2022, more Sydney shots and later that month, the unique Climax 1694 came out for a special run to Clematis Station at the Puffing Billy Railway.
October. After taking a painful ride on an Endeavour trainset, we find ourselves in Sydney for the Transport Heritage Expo.
September, RT20 is revealed to the public with its first outing in Traralgon for the Steamrail Triple K class trip.
Then ventured north towards Sydney, as something massive was about to happen.
August. A66 runs down to Colac on a special charter and K183/K100 run the annual Hurstbridge Wattle Festival train.
July.
PTC Tait and K classes paralleled in the eastern suburbs and later that month, Taitset ventured to Heidelberg.
June saw the PTC Taitset trundle to Glen Waverley.
May 2022.
Someone called up the 1980’s, V/Line Victoria’s last A Class locomotive within the locomotive roster was repainted into the 1980’s VLine orange and grey livery.
It’s first job was altered to pick up the Gippslander.
May 2022, was a quiet but interesting month. K183-K100 trundling through the Dandenong Ranges to N470 recovering the wooden bodied carriages.
621-721 visits Victoria on its Tri-State tour and signs of change were imminent for the locomotive hauled fleet.
April, brought us a special train into Victoria. Celebrating 60th anniversary, the Southern Aurora returns to Melbourne.
Seymour Railway Heritage Centre, Transport Heritage NSW, St James Rail and V/Line all partnered up to bring this event.
March saw the SRHC operate a charter to Warrnambool with P12-P15.
The PTC Taitset returns to the mainline, with its 20 year ban finally overturned and now allowed to take passengers under its own power.
In February, the SRHC used C501 for the first time to haul a heritage passenger train on the Western Daylight.
January started out slow for photos, but X31 led the Long Island which was a surprise to many.
X31 was photographed at Glenhuntly and South Yarra. Glenhuntly has now been closed off for photography due to the LX removal.
