20 December 2022 Seeds for the RFGN seed swap packaged and labelled.
The pea seeds had just passed their sow by date and had been germination tested. Labels now added with details of the test (86% germination). Achocha, tomatillo and tomato indigo cherry drop seeds have been donated to the seed swap by members of the Reading Food Growing Network.

#2022PAD 17 December 2022 Testing seed viability.
At this time of the year I start testing the seed viability and germination of some of the seeds in the Reading Food Growing Network seed swap, which I curate. This week it is a pea that has just passed its sow by date and three batches of achocha fat baby. The latter are all harvested from plants grown by RFGN members. In this batch of tests everything passed with flying colours!
