Non-fiction

Kory Stamper, _Word by Word_ (2017).

Experiences of a lexicographer at Merriam-Webster. I don’t read a lot of non-fiction, but this book was recommended to me and I found it very engaging, both because of the subject matter but also especially for the personal and often funny stories.

Both well-crafted; about troubled couples.

Richard Osman, _The Man Who Died Twice (Thursday Murder Club 2 ; 2021).
In a series of old folk solving murders.

Jessie Mihalik, _Hunt the Stars_ and _Eclipse the Moon_ (Starlight’s Shadow 1 & 2 ; 2022).
SF + action + romance.

Emily St. John Mandel, _Sea of Tranquility_ (2022).

Book no. 34 finished: You Are Awful (But I Like You): Travels Through Unloved Britain, by #TimMoore.
Funny, sad and fascinating all at once. He really does manage to visit the dreariest places the UK has to offer. But manages to make the best of it, sort of! 😁
