What a year. A year where I’ve learnt to manage a chronic illness and build back to being full-time. A year where I’ve created three job posts and relished in witnessing those recruits making the roles their own. A year where we lost our gorgeous cat and adopted another. A year where the love for my husband becomes deeper and more beautiful. Who knows what 2023 will hold for any of us. But here I am, ready to enjoy whatever may come down the road and to be thankful for what I have. #2023plans

New Year’s Eve, I have 2 dogs at my feet and a glass of red wine in hand, raising my glass to the year almost gone. It’s been one helluva year - full of amazing professional and personal highs and some very ordinary lows. I go into 2023 with a couple of exhibitions and a residency on Skye with time to reflect on my purpose through the lens of distance. There are many unknowns but I’m hopeful. Wishing you all peace, safety and a path forward.

6. Actually go golfing. There are a handful of public courses near me. My daughter was on the golf team in HS, and I've always enjoyed it + finally bought myself a set of clubs
7. Work in the garden more. I didn't do much in the garden last year and it shows. But will be doing more in 2023

2023 Author Plans!

I still have 5 books left from the 10 I bought back from my publisher. I need to re-edit and re-publish those, mostly historical fantasy.

Then I have two first drafts to edit and publish. The final book of my Urban Fantasy trilogy, All's Fae That Ends Fae, and the sequel to Time Tourist Outfitters, Ltd., Threads of Time.
