I’m not very good at remembering these birth anniversaries but on Thursday it was the 130th anniversary of the birth of the great American #theatre #actor Katharine Cornell. She didn’t do films but there are recordings of her reading poetry (‘Sonnets from the Portuguese’ by Elizabeth Barrett Browning).
