I am attempting to make a watchalong. This is my first time doing it.
You have to make a free login to VIki to see the episode.

I have a link, but it defaults to the first episode. I think I will be able to change it once it starts.

I can start the video once another person enters.

#22UntamedWatchAlong Ok so this is what I understand so far from eps 3-4: Wuxian is a flirty playboy, Jiang Cheng is the cranky tsundere who complains but looks after him, and Lan Zhan is the unyielding pillar of reason and rules who is somewhat fascinated by how intelligent and skilled the playboy is.

So...I assume there's a fusion/#crossover fic out there where #Wuxian is #CaptainKirk, #JiangCheng is Bones/McCoy, and #LanZhan is #Spock. Right? Not just me?

@Rozzychan One of the things I'd love to see in this watchalong thread series, is if someone ships a side pair, what are the scenes that really make that ship come alive to you, in each episode they're in?

I love reading that stuff. :D

I only ever really notice #wangxian because I'm trash, so having other ships' top moments pointed out is great.

I found the flashback confusing at first, along with everything else in the first couple of episodes.

The flashbacks & the first couple of episodes really shine for me when I watch them again after watching the whole series.

Seeing sect leaders Yao and Ouyang flat out murdering & maiming their allies to get their hands on the Yin iron was a big WHOAH moment for me.

I think the cinematography in episode 2 is some of the best in the series. Of course the CG could be better. LOL.
It looks so videogamish.
The speed ramping and other visual tricks like the sword closeup when he picks it up shows that the director was really trying to make it look cool.
