Hyperborea - Clark Ashton Smith, REH and HPL inspired weird fantasy.

2300AD - 300 years post Twilight War the nations of earth colonize the stars and find some things very unexpected.

Aeon Trinity - psychics battling mutated supers while making Earth a better place.

Gamma World - Gonzo post apoc

Aurore from #Traveller #2300AD again, this time a railgun artillery shot at top of flight. This is one of the things I had intended to work on, the textures on Aurore kind of fall flat in close-up shots.

I verify my #NBody simulations that I use in #Traveller and #2300AD against real-world spacecraft. Here is my Voyager 1 Io flyby, simulated and all rendered in #Mathematica

Finding surface illumination over the course of a day on Aurore from #2300AD. There are several versions of Aurora, sometimes in a more distant orbit around a gas giant, sometimes a closer orbit around a brown dwarf. This is the latter - some illumination is provided by brown dwarf, which Aurore is tide-locked to, and most by η boötis, the system primary.

More on the 2300AD theme: this is a Sky Chart as plotted from Earth with both real star locations as well as the 2300AD given locations (marked with blue labels and position markers), though I'm not sure the size of the chart will carry though Mastodon. Many stars have small positional errors due to the quantization of 2300AD data to 0.1 LY. #2300AD

53) I bought 2300AD in early 1989, although it was released in 1988 under the title Traveller 2300. It brought forward the world of Twilight 2000 to the year 2300AD, and claimed to be Traveller. It wasn't and I was never comfortable with a lot of the elements of the system.

The TTRPG that I've spent the most money on that I've never played?

It would probably be a toss up between Top Secret/SI or 2300AD.

I've accumulated pretty much all the books for both, but never played either.

My goal was to work through all the #Traveller material for my #RPGHistory on the game, but along the way I also indexed all the other GDW games except Twilight: 2000 (which was just too extensive).

Hope to finish it some day, but for now #Traveller, #2300AD, #Space1889, and #DarkConspiracy fans should find it useful.

I received my #WorldsWithoutNumber source book from Kevin Crawford's #Kickstarter, got my copy of Ships of the Frontier from Mongoose for #2300AD #Traveller, found a copy of #TheStrange and Expanded Worlds for # CypherSystem from @montecook games, and just got an email that Regency Cthulhu for #CallOfCthulhu has shipped!
