#240pTestSuite is a #homebrew tool for testing compatibility of an #upscaler with #RetroGames and adjusting a TV's colors and geometry. The ports to #NES, #GameBoy, and #GBA have been updated this week. Highlights of v0.23:

#ScreenshotSaturday meets #TwitterMigration

I plan to release version 0.23 of #240pTestSuite for #NES, #GameBoy, and #GBA later this month. It credits Artemio Urbina for the original and me for the port. As part of winding down my use of the bird site, I'm changing my SNS contact in the credits to my peoplemaking.games account. To do this, I needed to make a #PixelArt logo for Mastodon to match the low-res [CHIRPBIRDICON].

I maintain the #NES, #GameBoy, and #GBA ports of #240pTestSuite, a free application by Artemio Urbina to test a TV's compatibility with #RetroGames.

Its stopwatch activity counts and displays elapsed time. It's meant to measure processing lag of a TV or #upscaler by connecting two displays to one console, photographing them side by side, and comparing the frame counts. It can also be used to time a #workout, cooking, a phone call with an old friend, etc., so long as no one else is using the TV or the console.

Is there demand for an "egg timer" app for retro consoles that can count down and beep when it expires?
