Totally forgot to follow up on this. It was indeed, a wild 24 hrs. last weekend.

Fri:
19:00 - Meet and greet. 6 writers, 6 directors (incl. me), 24 actors.
21:00 - Meet with writer, select cast of 4.
22:00 - Writers begin writing a 10 min. play.
Sat:
07:00 - Get script.
08:00 - Actors arrive. Announce cast. Begin rehearsing!
19:00 - Showtime!

All of the stress and joy and collaboration of theatre compressed and distilled into 24 hrs. It was GLORIOUS.
