Very interesting, too bad both articles are paywalled. Lots of potential therapeutic implications.

Too bad this review paper referenced in the article is paywalled:

research article (2019):
Puerarin suppresses TRPV1, calcitonin gene-related peptide and substance P to prevent paclitaxel-induced peripheral neuropathic pain in rats

Puerarin is a natural product found in kudzu root. Kudzu root is used to make Japanese kuzu noodles - don't know how much puerarin is in kuzu starch, but it's used traditionally as a digestive aid.

Looks interesting, .
Topic for a video?

Weird coincidence, today I was also looking at natural products for renal function including kuzdu / puerarin. Sometimes I like to read Amazon reviews of products & found ppl were saying it was good for alcohol cravings & headache. So I wondered if puerarin interacts w/ 5-HT2a, and indeed there is research on it -

Don't think I would have thought to look it up if I hadn't seen your post 1st.

In the plasma, [albumin] functions as a carrier, chaperon, antioxidant, source of amino acids, osmoregulator, etc. ... it [transports] ... free fatty acids, steroid hormones, medicines, & metal ions. As a chaperon, SA binds to & protects other proteins.
... thanks to a free sulfhydryl group, albumin is responsible for most antioxidant properties of plasma.
