@McMafalda it's true that governance in the interests of capitalist big business has been around since the beginning of democracy. But #privatisation since #Thatcher's / #Blair's #neoliberalism has made #privatisation fundamental to every action in our #2PP democracy in Australia. Devastating.
#blair #2pp #neoliberalism #thatcher #privatisation
@dean @cathywilcox Too true! But wouldn't it be great to see Labor move away from them/us = #2PP & enter into assuming that the electorate is capable of a more mature #post2PP interaction. Sadly that would require them to bite the bullet thrown up by #IPCCReport. They are too in with coal oil & gas to take the next step. The result is #2PP will take us to the moment of oblivion.
@dean You're expressing the fundamental argument we've been hearing since Rudd changed direction on climate change. An inability to differentiate from the other side in a #2PP, minimalise seeking a mandate for change. We've been asking them to do that ever since. But they've continuously kept the differences minimal. (that's the reason for @cathywilcox's 'yellow') π . At present the other side of #2PP are completely unelectable. If they can't do it now, they never will π
@skua @roweafr will have to explain it. I took it as something like a woman (Albo) is kidnapped by a stranger (Morriscum) on a routine flight (the #2PP elections). The red eye (Robodebt) sees it all is all but pays the ultimate price, watching #2PP continue its way to a bright future.
