Birds in flight - for me often a challenge. This one is with my #nikon D750 and #300mm and it is so much easier than with my other cam, Sony Rx10. The Grey Heron is a common bird here, but I love all the wings details 😀

A recent photo I took of my son using my Sony a7R2 with a Pentax Super-#Takumar 300mm F4 vintage lens on a tripod. He's on an old railroad bridge that has been converted into a pedestrian walkway over the Wabash River (Davis Ferry Bridge). I was unhappy with how the sky was exposed in the original, so I converted to black and white...much happier with this version. #Darktable #300mm #LensCompression #Portrait

Processed these shots taken with my #PentaxK70 and various lenses (#100mm, #300mm) and I'm pretty happy with them. I've been focused on #birds a lot and the cardinal here has been eluding me the entire winter, little bastard. Catching birds in flight or carrying food is always great, and this little guy on the wire held that worm for his girl for around a half hour before she got there. Dedication 😁
