The problem with this is there have been so many and I've forgotten many of them. 🤦🏻

"Everything I Own" by Bread is totally Stede in s1 e10.

"Burning for You" by Blue Öyster Cult is kraken Ed.

I feel like "Magic Man" by Heart could be them in an AU but I can't decide who would be who.

"Razorblade" by the Strokes is sad!Ed.

"How Can I Tell You" by Cat Stevens is Stede in s1 e10 and probably s2.

I'm finally getting around to #30DaysWithOFMD now because I've been busy all day. I actually had work to do all day, then I had a meeting with a comrade, then I went shopping, then I had group therapy, and then I had dinner and wrote the agenda for and sent an email about tomorrow's socialist feminist meeting. Looking forward to getting into the sweet brainrot oblivion and resting!

So I'm really not great at remembering artists or song titles. I don't make themed playlists. Music is both very important to me and also too much.

All that said, pretty much every song I hear makes me think of #ofmd. This show is my whole brain, it colours everything

Day 6: favourite supporting character.

Hornberry! The way he says "sorry, you do" to Stede after saying he has the "eyes of a madman", his "tortured" look when he poses with Stede, he is a ridiculous man and I'd love for him to run away and become a pirate but there's already one Stede out there, the oceans couldn't cope with two.

I mean... I gotta go with Mary! I feel like she's a main character in so many fics that I'm not sure if she counts??? But she only really appeared in one episode plus flashbacks. She's a badass independent woman!

So is Jackie, so she gets a shout-out.

Also, the chief on the island, because Gary Farmer is hilarious. "He's clearly unwell" makes me laugh every time 😂

Fav main character: Ed.

Imagine being the best of the best and then hating the expectations that come with that, feeling bored of the fame you made for yourself and how it's always the same, it's not exciting anymore. Then finding love (something shiny and new) without necessarily knowing how to handle it. Yeah.

#30DaysWithOFMD day 6: this is almost harder than main characters, cuz everyone is great. Evelyn has some of my favorite line deliveries in the show. Hornberry is a bit of an unsung hero (he was all sunburnt and tied up and still tried to comfort Stede 😂. And then not shoot him!) Jeffrey Fettering! I'm excited for S2 just to see who pops up.
