Yesterday was my 2nd Montpelier Day this session. It was an amazing day of meetings with incredible candidates and electeds, then two fab celebrations of our queer heros & marriage equality, at night. Here’s me at Skinny waiting to meet a candidate buddy in the afternoon.

Highlight of the day: a stranger in the statehouse walked by me and said “your hair fabulous.” I’ll take it.

I’m almost never in Montpelier. I’m mostly on the electoral side. Did not even register as a lobbyist this year. But today I went out there to see my gurl *Senator* Martine in her element. Ran into a jillion ppl from the 2022 campaign trail. Friends from campaigns, advocacy groups, electeds, lobbyists… it was like going back to high school, but a high school full of amazing ppl who give a fuck about VT. Also met w/ amazing former & future candidates. 📸💙

Bad news from #Scrappyland

I (Scrappy's Human Mom) am under strict orders to not bear any weight on my broken foot and there is now a delay in getting my knee scooter. Sadly this means our #30in30 dog walk challenge to raise money for the National Kidney Foundation has come to an abrupt end.

Because #Scrappy is a #goodboy we have several friends and neighbors lining up to take him out on #walkies and #doggyplaydates! But he loves walks with me the most 😞
