Watching ‘Sylvia Scarlett’. Katharine Hepburn is cute but how could anyone possibly be taken in by her disguise? Her face, her voice, even her body language, they are all so feminine. It keeps making me laugh.

But then I suppose Hollywood could only venture so far with gender back then. The audience had to be reassured that ultimately a woman is always a woman.
