The forwarding provider review:

1) they can only be reached via Twitter & their Gmail address.

2) there is no physical address anywhere on the site, not even in the privacy policy or legal terms.

3) the ToS says: “You may not use 33Mail to break the law. We will cooperate fully with requests from law enforcement agencies as part of any legitimate investigation of a crime.” But they do not say what country of jurisdiction they are in!

4) the privacy policy says if you have a privacy complaint, “you may contact the Information Commissioner’s Office.” Who’s that? Which country?

Yikes.

Things like jurisdiction and corp registered office is basic info to have in the fine print. I can only guess they are in Ireland because their sister site simply writes “Dublin, Ireland.” in the corner of the screen. Does not require online services to disclose their corp ID info?

And isn’t Ireland under the , which would require them to be reachable by mail?

On the upside, it’s useful that they at least notify users upon login if there have been problems with the forwarding, unlike which gives no notice or info.

Is there a issue w.r.t point 1? IMO, they should provide two email addresses: one to reach them on their own mail server, and one on a 3rd party server in case there are issues.
