F in #36daysoftype was all about process.
I'd tried plotting one of my pen test swatches onto my iPad using the Apple Pencil a few weeks back and noticed a bit more of a wiggle to the lines than I'd seen on paper. Presumably some combination of the plotter motors, the iPad digitizer, the low friction of the pencil tip, and the software processing made the effect more obvious.
I fed input from the iPad back to the plotter repeatedly to see if it would amplify the effect.
