Renewed my 3D Coat license from version 2021 to version 2023 for only € 45, including a year of free upgrades.

3D Coat is a powerful and affordable alternative to ZBrush. If you don't (really) know it and like (to get into) 3D sculpting, be sure to check it out: https://3dcoat.com

You can also texture, retopologize, paint and more with it.

She's meant for VR specifically. She was also an experiment to see how low poly I can go without losing the type of detail I wanted.

Quick question for the 3D artist community: If someone wanted to get into 3D sculpting and modeling (mainly for concept art and illustration, maybe with some aspirations towards very basic animation), does it make a huge difference whether they study 3Dcoat, Blender or zBrush?

Blender is easily the cheapest option with the most community support, but there still seems to be quite a bit of a gap between it and the other two – though I could be wrong.
